About Token Index

Token Index answers one question honestly: what does a token actually cost, and how fast will you get it, across the models and providers that matter. The moat is provenance, not breadth — a smaller index that you can verify is worth more than a bigger one you cannot.

Conflict-of-interest statement

No affiliate links. No paid placement. No pay-to-rank. No provider can buy a position, a badge, or the removal of an unflattering number. If this project is ever monetised, it will be through the API, embeds, or a pro tier — never through the ranking.

Corrections policy

If a number here is wrong, we would rather remove it than defend it. Report an error with the model, the value shown, and the source you believe is authoritative; corrections are reviewed against the upstream source, and a broken parser is quarantined before it can publish again. Every value already carries a "view source" link so you can check us in one click.

Data reuse

Values we compute ourselves (normalised USD-per-million figures, blended rates) may be reused with attribution and a link back. Values that originate upstream carry the upstream terms with them — see the sources page. Sources whose terms forbid redisplay are not published here at all.
