Sources & licensing

Higher tiers win on conflict; disagreements are disclosed, never resolved silently. A source marked restricted is fetched by nobody and displayed by nothing here — its terms do not permit redisplay in a public product.

OpenRouter Models API

Tier 1ok

LiteLLM model_prices_and_context_window.json

Tier 1ok

Breadth backbone and cross-check. Community-sourced, so it never overrides another source; disagreements beyond 5% are surfaced as conflicts rather than resolved.

Artificial Analysis Data API

Tier 1restrictedredisplay not permitted

NOT ingested and NOT displayed. Their measured tokens/sec, TTFT and intelligence-index values may not be redisplayed in a customer-facing product without a commercial package. Measured speed columns therefore stay empty until our own probe harness (§4.3) ships.

Licence
Free tier = internal analysis only; public redistribution requires a commercial licence

Crawler behaviour

  • Official APIs are preferred to scraping in every case where one exists.
  • Requests identify as TokenIndexBot/0.1 with a contact URL, carry a timeout, and are cached server-side for 30 minutes.
  • robots.txt and each site's terms are respected; restricted sources are withheld.
